The potential no. 1 pick is coming off of the best three game stretch of his young college career.
After posting a career high 35 points just the other night, AJ Dybantsa followed up that spectacular scoring performance with something even better; a 33-point, 10 rebound and 10 assist outing against the floundering but scrappy Eastern Washington squad.
The 17-year-old forward had an efficient night, too, finishing 11/13 from the field and 2/3 from three. Dyabantsa’s ability to get to the free throw line seemingly whenever he wants continues to be a foundational part of BYU’s offensive success this season.
In addition to Dybantsa’s big outing, the no. 10 Cougars also go big contributions from star guard Richie Saunders, Rob Wright, and a season high 5 three pointers from Souther Illinois transfer Kennard Davis.
